This automatic premade zipper doypack packing machine is a specialized packaging device designed for efficiently filling and sealing a wide range of snack foods into prefabricated zipper doypack pouches.
Tailored to the snack food industry, it is compatible with diverse snack products such as potato chips, nuts, dried fruits, granola bars, puffed snacks, and candy. The machine works with pre-made doypack pouches that come with a built-in zipper seal—these pouches are known for their stand-up design, excellent barrier properties, and resealable feature, which helps preserve the freshness and crunch of snack foods.
Core Working Process
- Pouch Feeding: The machine automatically feeds stacked premade zipper doypacks into the processing station via a precise feeding system, eliminating manual pouch handling.
- Pouch Opening: Utilizing vacuum suction or mechanical stretching, the machine reliably opens the pouch mouths, ensuring they are ready for filling.
- Filling Operation: Equipped with a customized filling system (e.g., volumetric cups, multi-head weighers, auger fillers), it accurately dispenses snack products into the pouches. The filling capacity is adjustable to meet different packaging specifications, from small single-serve portions to large family-size packs.
- Zipper Sealing & Finishing: After filling, the machine first seals the zipper of the doypack to secure the contents preliminarily. It then performs a heat-sealing process on the pouch top to ensure airtightness, and may also include optional steps like date coding, batch marking, or pouch trimming for a neat, standardized appearance.
- Discharge: The fully packaged snack pouches are automatically discharged onto a conveyor belt for subsequent packaging or cartoning processes.
